¡Si bien su publicación, así como la de su vídeo musical, tuvo lugar a comienzos de este último mes en Tidal, no ha sido hasta el pasado martes 14 de abril cuando "American Oxygen", el nuevo single de Rihanna, ha pasado a estar disponible a nivel mundial en la plataforma de iTunes!

Pudiéndose disfrutar también en servicios de Streaming como Spotify, se trata de un atractivo (aunque no por ello muy memorable) Mid-Tempo que podría incluso destituir a "Bitch Better Have My Money" como el segundo sencillo del octavo álbum de estudio de la Princesa del R&B, el cual será publicado aproximadamente tres años después de aquel "Unapologetic" y cuya fecha de lanzamiento, portada e incluso título (¿"#R8"?) es aún un misterio para nosotros.

Así como su disponibilidad en iTunes, ha sido también desvelada su portada oficial, la cual incluye el título en la característica fuente en braille de todas las imágenes promocionales reveladas hasta ahora de de esta etapa discográfica, dentro de las cuales podríamos catalogar a la de "American Oxygen" como la más apasionante.

Con ello, su clip ha visto la luz hace unos días de forma oficial en el canal de VEVO de la cantante barbadense. Como algunos recordaréis, combina imágenes tanto de distintos momentos de importancia en la historia de Estados Unidos como de la artista, quizás otorgándonos la sensación de que no alberga más que contenido de tono patriótico, pero abarcando mucho más, con un trasfondo ciertamente reivindicativo.
